Kinetics & One Love

Kinetics & One Love, a hip-hop/electronic duo from NYC, are revitalizing underground hip-hop and reinventing standards for dance and pop music. Ever since they met in college, Kinetics, a battle rapper from Harlem, has been offering a distinctive compliment to One Love's instrumentals, an eclectic reflection of Love's background as a techno producer and drummer in an indie rock band. It doesn't hurt that the two go to an Ivy League university: One Love's extensive training in music theory and classical composition is evident in the beats, while Kinetics's lyrics breathe socially conscious and provocative themes, topped with a touch of frat boy humor and sarcasm. In the summer of '09, Kinetics & One Love released their debut album, Fading Back to Normal.

Kinetics & One Love are currently negotiating songwriting deals with Atlantic Records. They have written and produced choruses for some of Atlantic's biggest hip-hop and pop stars.

2009 NBA Summer League: Anthony Randolph Ties Summer League Record With 42 Points (Video)

Yesterday, Anthony Randolph tied a summer league record by dropping 42 points. Now this is still ONLY summer league, but Randolph is now averaging 26.8 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.2 steals, and 3.0 blocks, while shooting 60.9% from the floor in 4 games in the summer so far. However, it's clear that Randolph's skills are far superior to most of the other players participating in the summer league and I have to wonder if Randolph could be ready to emerge as one of the better young players in the NBA once the season starts. Playing in Golden State certainly won't hurt his production and I think that he is someone to keep an eye on once the season starts. I'm sure this won't be the last time we hear about Anthony Randolph over the next 8-10 months.

2009 MLB All-Star Game: Carl Crawford Makes Leaping Catch To Rob Brad Hawpe Of A Home Run (Video)

Check out this sweet game saving catch by Carl Crawford in the All-Star Game to rob Brad Hawpe of a home run. The American League won AGAIN (4-3) and Crawford was named the MVP. The AL hasn't lost to the NL in the All-Star Game since 1996.
